each year more than 100,000 high school graduates, with proved ability, do not enter college because they cannot afford it. and if we cannot educate today's youth, what will we do in 1970 when elementary school enrollment will be 5 million greater than 1960? and high school enrollment will rise by 5 million. and college enrollment will increase by more than 3 million.

这些岗位，这些官，是孩子们自己申请担任的。孩子发现班上的.图书需要有人管理，就可以申请当“管长”，发现地上有纸屑就可以申请当“捡搽长”。无论什么事情，只要孩子发现，就可以自告奋勇地申请“一官半职”，主动为班级服务。

干部是什么？干部就岗位，干部就是责任，干部就是锻炼学生的一个平台。既然如此，何不把这个平台给每个学生，让其明白是我的责任。

班上有个孩子叫刘念，性格内向，同桌戏称他“绵花虫”，做事有点慢的，爱干净怕脏。一天，他发现垃圾桶周围总是不干净，就认领了一个“官位”——卫生员，也有孩子笑称他“桶长”。专门管理那块地的清洁。每当一下课，我们总能看到他在那里或监督或打扫。这个8岁的孩子在日记本上写着：“我是班上的卫生员，我要把那块地打扫得很干净。可妈妈说我这样累，容易弄脏自己，干脆不做卫生员了。这怎么可以，妈妈哪懂我的心，这卫生员是老师对我的信任，是班级给我的荣誉，是我的责任！”

好一个“我的责任”，他用行动诠释了这个官的内涵，“棉花虫”改变了摸样！

一段时间后，班里孩子明白了：上课认真听讲，是我的责任；勤俭节约，是我的责任；不乱丢乱扔，是我的责任；升旗时唱好国歌，是我的责任……一切事情都是我的责任。

是的，如果天下事，事事是我责，那我们的国家怎不兴旺，我们的民族怎不复兴！把孩子培养成有责任的人，也是我的责任。朋友们，让我们大声告诉孩子：天下兴亡我的责任！
